Landscape Lighting Consultation in Seattle, WA
Complimentary On-Site Lighting Consultation
Every great outdoor lighting system starts with a walk around the property. Our complimentary on-site consultation gives homeowners in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and across the Eastside a clear picture of what their home could look like after dark, with no cost and no obligation.
A Plan Built On Your Property. Not A Template.
Before we recommend a single fixture, we want to see the home in person, understand how you use your outdoor spaces, and hear what you hope to get out of your lighting.
Where Every Lighting Project Begins
Our consultation is a relaxed, one-on-one visit during normal business hours, usually lasting one to two hours.
One of our design and sales consultants, and sometimes one of our owners, will walk the property with you, talk through your goals, and point out opportunities you may not have considered.
We also take photos of your home so your outdoor lighting design is built on the real property, not a generic layout.

What We Cover During Your Consultation
A full walk of the property
A review of any existing fixtures
Goals and how you use each space
Photos of the property for your custom design
Focal points worth highlighting
Answers to your questions, with fixture samples available on request

What You Receive After Your Consultation
Within 24 to 48 hours of your visit, and often sooner, you’ll receive a custom design proposal. It includes photos of your home showing where each light will go, example photos from similar projects we’ve completed, and a line-item quote. When it makes sense for the scope, we include multiple options so you can choose what works best for your home.
If you’d like to see the lighting in person before deciding, we also offer a complimentary nighttime demo after you’ve reviewed your quote.

Quality Fixtures, Thoughtful Controls
We work with a range of fixture brands and primarily use Garden Light LED, which comes with a 20-year limited warranty.
During your consultation we’ll also talk through how you want the system to run. Most homeowners prefer the simplicity of an astronomical timer or photocell, and smart, app-controlled options are available if you want more flexibility.
Zoning is planned in the design phase based on how you use your spaces.

Already Have a Lighting System?
The consultation isn’t only for new installations. If you already have outdoor lighting, we’ll take a look at your existing fixtures and transformer and show you where improvements can be made.
Sometimes that means upgrading to higher quality LED fixtures. Other times it’s as simple as moving a light to a better spot so it does more with less.
FAQ
Is the on-site consultation really complimentary?
Yes. There is no fee and no obligation. The consultation, your custom design, your quote, and an optional nighttime demo are all complimentary.
Will this be a sales pitch?
No. Our goal is to understand your property and give you honest recommendations. You’ll get a clear plan and quote, and you can take whatever time you need to decide.
Is my project too small?
There’s no minimum project size. Whether you want to light a single entry or an entire property, we’re happy to help you plan it.
I'm not sure what I want yet. Should I still book?
Absolutely. Many homeowners start with only a general idea. Walking the property together is how we uncover what will make the biggest difference. All you need is an open mind.
Do I need to be home for the consultation?
We prefer that you are. Meeting in person lets us learn how you use your outdoor spaces and make sure the design fits the way you live.
How long does the consultation take?
Most consultations last between one and two hours, depending on the size of the property and the scope of the project. They take place during the day, during normal business hours.
What happens after the consultation?
Within 24 to 48 hours, often sooner, you’ll receive a PDF proposal with photos of your home showing light placement, example photos from similar projects, and a line-item quote. Larger projects often include multiple options.
Do you offer a nighttime demo?
Yes. Once you’ve reviewed your quote, we can schedule a complimentary nighttime demo so you can see the lighting on your property before you decide.
Can you evaluate my existing lighting system?
Yes. We’ll review your current fixtures and transformer and recommend improvements, from fixture upgrades to repositioning lights for better coverage and efficiency.
What fixtures do you use?
We work with several brands but primarily use Garden Light LED, which carries a 20-year limited warranty. Other brands are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Every system is installed by our own team to ensure the highest quality workmanship and performance.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Woodinville, Mercer Island, Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, and Yarrow Point, for both residential and commercial properties.
